Hello there!

This is Money Mail 41 and we’re working on the new theme of Abundance!

Let’s take a moment to recap on abundance and what it means for your Wealthology Profile.

Everyone’s talking about clearing blocks to abundance - but what about the blocks that are caused by abundance?

Yes it’s a thing.

These are the fears, doubt, and triggers that are activated when things are going well.

When things are good, these blocks kick-start the subconscious into thinking ‘it’s too good, we don’t know if this is safe, we want familiarity’. Even if familiarity was rubbish in comparison to this new abundant state, the mind will find a way to sabotage and take you backwards.

Even with a healthy awareness of these invisible restrictions, they can slow down progress immeasurably.

Let’s remind ourselves how your Wealthology Profile interacts with self-actualisation:

The Achiever – gets triggered by abundance because they don’t think they can have it all. Their automatic reaction to gaining in one area is that loss in another area is inevitable. The scarcity thinking plagues the; it rears its head and spoils their joy and growth, by pulling them back down to familiar levels, both emotional and financial. This is self-sabotage on steroids.

The Strategist – gets blocked by abundance because it makes them stop communicating honestly. They think it means they have to be in a state of perfect boss and gratitude at every moment, and able to take care of everything and everyone. They avoid having open dialogue, and allow their boundaries to be crushed.

The Hustler – struggles with abundance because it inhibits their ability to be themselves. They start to think that being abundant means they have to look, act and behave in a certain way. They will upgrade everything from homes and holidays to handbags, because they believe that’s what abundance looks like, and they often create a situation where they feel trapped by higher outgoings in a lifestyle they don’t know how to change.

The Guardian – doesn’t think they’re worthy of abundance.  When it shows up, all their feelings of low self-worth are activated, and they start to question if they deserve it, which quickly spirals into a fear that they will lose it. They almost visibly shrink in size, and make themselves small, so that no on notices them, because they subconsciously believe that if anyone realised they had this abundance, somehow it would be taken away.

The Thinker – gets blocked by abundance because it makes them feel guilty. When things get easy and begin to flow, they have a tendency to feel apologetic, and think they should be focusing on other people. They shift their focus away from their own plans and desires, and give all their attention to anyone else who asks for it. They feel that they can’t say no because they feel blessed in their own lives. This then flips them out of flow, and reduces their natural state of joy.

The Light – assumes that abundance means they have to do more. They forget that their success is linked to their ability to ‘be’ rather than ‘do’, and revert to over-production mode, in a misguided attempt to maintain the wealth. They equate their rising value to working harder, and think that in order to keep creating abundance they need to keep creating ‘stuff’.

This month’s affirmation is:

I am love. I am abundance. I am treasure.

Find the image to use as your phone lock screen here  (This is my favourite, I've had  it on my phone for months!)

Repeating these words out loud and confidently will gently shift your energy, and keep you focused on this work.

The affirmation works best if you repeat it three times, three times a day, for the month we’re working on abundance.

Here are this week’s Money Mail prompts…

1. There is not enough

The belief that there is ‘not enough’ can keep us stuck in a place of ‘lack’.

If you like you can fill in the blank, ‘there is not enough _______’

No matter what completes that sentence for you, the belief ‘there is not enough’ will hold you back.

How does this belief affect you?

Give it some thought, journal it out.

Use the Limiting Belief Release: There is not enough / I am greedy if I ‘have it all’ / There isn’t enough to go around

If you’ve got the Energy Editing Online Course, smash these blocks:

Fears: Fear of not having enough / Fear of having enough / Fear of (not) being greedy

Emotion: Satisfied

Thoughts:  Same as the beliefs above!

2. Familiarity is safety

Ah, feeling safe, lovely isn’t it?

So it’s no surprise that leaving the realm of familiarity can feel quite daunting, and ultimately ‘unsafe’.

Not necessarily life-threatening-unsafe, but it can bring up all sorts of anxious feelings.

What's familiar to you?  What do you hold on to because it's familiar?  How does this keep you stuck?

Take a moment, journal it out.

Use the LBR and do these Limiting beliefs: Familiarity is safe / Unfamiliarity is unsafe

If you’ve got the Energy Editing Online Course, do these:

Fears: Fear of not being safe / Fear of not knowing the outcome / Fear of unfamiliarity

Emotion: Not-knowing

Thoughts: Do the beliefs above as Thoughts too!

Everyone can find the Limiting Belief Release Technique here.

Have fun digging into those, and I’ll be back with you next week.

Lots of love,
Michelle xxx
